"It used to be my favorite Farmers market but not anymore as they are getting very greedy and the prices went up at least 25% you can look at the pictures and see it is very ridiculous comparing to the same Farmers market at other locations !"

"Quite precarious to have carpet on the floor of a supermarket—but hey, I’m open minded and try anything once, no matter how nasty it is. With that being said, there is a carpeted section in this farmers market. It’s definitely an unusual design choice, especially for a place that deals with fresh foods and high foot traffic, but somehow it adds to the character rather than completely taking away from it. The space itself is very liminal, almost like you’re in between a warehouse, an office, and a specialty market. The lighting feels more suited for an office than a supermarket, slightly dim and muted, but it oddly works in giving the place a distinct atmosphere. It doesn’t feel chaotic or overstimulating like some larger markets—instead, it has a calmer, almost surreal shopping experience that makes you slow down and actually look at what’s around you. This Nam Dae Mun is smaller than the Duluth Steve Reynolds location, and you can feel that difference immediately. The aisles are tighter and the overall footprint is more compact, but it doesn’t feel lacking. If anything, it feels more curated and easier to navigate, especially if you’re trying to get in and out without committing to a full excursion. The cashiers were cute and said hello, which always goes a long way. Customer service here felt more approachable and less rushed compared to larger, busier locations. That energy carries throughout the store—the staff seem present without hovering, and available when you actually need them. The ice cream and coffee section—well, all the sections—are impressive. There’s a surprising variety packed into a smaller space, and it feels like every corner has something worth checking out. The international selection stands out, and you can tell this place caters to people who actually cook and explore different cuisines. The bakery seduces you with a wicked scent. I had to walk away swiftly before I cheated on my diet. Fresh bread and pastries are clearly a strong point here, and even if you come in with discipline, you’ll probably leave questioning it. It’s one of those sections that pulls you in whether you planned on stopping or not. There is a home aisle that has everything you can need to cook your fresh seafood, from cookware to specialty tools you didn’t even realize you might need. It complements the rest of the store well and reinforces the idea that this isn’t just a place to buy ingredients—it’s a place to build a full cooking experience. The seafood section wasn’t as aggressive as Duluth. I could actually have service in a timely manner, which made a big difference. It felt more manageable and less overwhelming, especially if you’re someone who doesn’t want to fight through a crowd just to place an order. The selection was still solid, just presented in a more approachable way. Overall, this location trades size for atmosphere and accessibility. You may also have to contend with the traffic. It may not have the sheer scale of Duluth, but it holds its own with personality, thoughtful layout, and a surprisingly enjoyable shopping experience—even with carpet underfoot."
